How it all began...

It started with Glass.

Sitting in his local in 2010, our Founder Pete Ancketill was struck by the constant interruption caused by the noise of crashing bottles in bins behind the bar. That was an inspirational moment, as he turned that annoyance into motivation and went on to develop the quietest, safest and most convenient glass crusher in the world.

Following a successful appearance on Dragon's Den, and through working with some of the UK's most prestigious hospitality brands, we realised glass was just the start. In order to help solve all of our clients' waste problems, Wastestream was founded as the solution.

By applying the same ethos of providing a simple, slick and high quality service from glass to all waste types, we created a truly unique complete waste management solution. From our humble beginnings in a North London pub, to working with hundreds of customers big and small across multiple sectors, we at Wastestream are continually looking for new ways to help people solve their waste problems.
